GLOBAL NEWS- DJ AM FOUND DEAD- STORY DEVELOPING!!! R.I.P
TMZ REPORTS:
Cops tell us DJ AM -- also known as Adam Goldstein -- was found dead this afternoon in New York City.
Law enforcement sources tell us he was found in his apartment at around 5:20 PM. We're told drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.
We're told DJ AM had not been seen or heard from for a few days -- one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door.
We're told the friend called the police, who broke down the door and then found DJ AM's body.
Back in September of 2008, DJ AM and Travis Barker survived a plane crash in South Carolina. Four people died in the crash -- which was caused when the airplane aborted takeoff and then ran off the runway. DJ AM and Barker were the only survivors.

The-Dream a successful songwriter/producer, solo artist, and now, a
label executive?
According to New York's Village Voice, the R&B singer recently landed
the Executive Vice President position over at Island Def Jam. He
apparently announced the news on his Twitter page (@OfficialDream).
"I wanna Thank everyone at Island Records/DefJam for their faith in
me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records,"
The-Dream wrote. "Thank you to my team. My manager Mark Stewart and
my attorney Aaron Rosenberg for getting this first step of a goal

Legendary Bay Area rapper, Too Short, was busted for a DUI
early Thursday morning (August 27) in Las Vegas.
Here's how the story goes, according to TMZ:
Cops say rapper Too Short was too far over the legal limit to be
driving around Las Vegas this morning.
According to law enforcement, Short real name Todd Shaw
was arrested for DUI, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana,
speeding and exhibition of power (burning rubber) by Las Vegas Metro
Police at around 4:00 AM.
It's the second time Short's been popped for DUI in Las Vegas in the
last three months.
Cops say the 43-year-old is still behind bars
